Dick Cheney, Ariel Sharon, Jaques Chirac; these are only three examples of sick leaders around the world.
Sickness can also be read as a metaphor for present global politics. There are no leaders anymore, and those who are there are slowly disappearing in a natural or in an induced way.
Hopefully 2006 will see a brand new era of politics and leadership.
